Why does everyone keep thinking things are dying?
People say CS2D's dying, then you've got blokes that think DotA's dying, then you've got WoW and dudes say it's dying, this is dying, that is dying, my dog is dying, my sanity is dying.
I'm actually curious, do you think Death itself is dying?
Seriously though, CS2D is still pretty much alive, it never was a giant hit and was always kinda obscure. I say be glad it's still up and running. DC Admin

I really don't see the point in repeating the same topic again and again. Enjoy the game instead. There are still enough people playing it! This is outstanding for a tiny little indie game which is so many years old already. Tell your friends about it and play with them if you have trouble finding crowded servers which fit your needs. Actually @ smn: is making complete Map HD reboot of the game and has gotten the notice of DC who approves. He even made a hd complete skin pack, a while back.Not to mention the 2 CS2D mobile games in the works. If all of these work out, CS2D will be out for a long time. While he doing it, we need to support him. At the same time, Im doing something as a tribute for my 2 years of cs2d gaming. 
Honestly, you guys could give that credit to @ SQ , specially the things hes doing now...really it looks like what we wanted..

TRZ is reworking on CS2DBR's competitive maps (aztec, cbble, dust, dust2, inferno, mill, mirage, nuke and train), theyre gonna be super. Our servers are under maintenance but will be back soon for south american players. And I'm currently working on br translation, so th game will not die at least for the brazilian community (we are back and active). 
These stuff are just from the first 3 pages while searching cs2d dead and cs2d died The best servers are gone, thats the problem currently the game hasen't got a good server execpt apple multigame @ NoKee: Then it seems like you are blind. There are lots of great servers and there are different gamemodes. And they are filled by players who play everyday. You just didn't search quite enough.
