I found an RTS editor (which is for Command and Conquer: Generals & Zero Hour), which dates back from its original release from 2003. Now if you're a fan of Command and Conquer, you're not the only one.
The image below is what the editor looks like. It's so fucking old, there's no widescreen resolution but if I forced it to be 1280x800 (which is my MacBook resolution on the picture), the textures and objects becomes stretched. The maximum resolution is 1090x800 but it is not as widescreen as my MacBook.
This piece of software dating back from 2003 feels like an artifact of RTS gaming. I had to fiddle around with it to create my own map and it's fucking glorious.

The maps made in the editor can be also used as "shellmaps". These shellmaps are maps that play on the game's main menu screen.
Well that's all for now. It's still pretty cool to dig up what was released years before.
