If you have Warcraft 1.24 then you must replace DotA 6.61b with 6.61c. The new patch does not work with DotA maps from 6.60 to 6.61b. Though it works with IceFrog's stable map (6.59d).

true, as for other maps you'll need to download hot fix versions, or else they won't ever work again...
