I don't get it, you do download files necessary to play runescape, it's stored on your harddrive. Just check your main harddrive usually it's located in (Citadel) in this path C:/Windows/.jagex_cache_32/runescape. Filesize of the folder depends on how much things you've downloaded (with or without your awareness) my folder is around 96,5mb cause of terrain, quests, characters and many other objects and other content. That's what I download as I play.yea but it would be much better game if you have to INSTALL ANYTHING
I have noticed that people at my school have played runescape cause I see the jagex_cache path at almost every school computer I use, but no it's not me because I've stopped playing for a while now. Last time I played was about a month ago.
It's fun to see that people are trying to hide being a runescape player, it's not that embarrasing though.
if ou would to have to download some kind of installer about 500 MB you would have a great MMORPG. Because the Textures would be much more greater and so on

Did you know there is HD Runescape, the textures are high detailed and there is lots more features like fog-of-war option, blending textures, texture quality and much more these options are also in low-detail. I can't play on high-detailed, it just doesn't load the high definition(HD) runescape because of my graphic card. But I've seen the look of the high definition runescape on the net (youtube) and it looks really good, I don't know why people complain about the graphics it's as good as it gets.I mean it like that:

Runescape actually was on Guinness World records as the largest free MMORG for 2 years in a row, so now don't complain. If you do not like Runescape go somewhere else.
Time played: 2 years
How it was: Addictive, played with my sibling for lots and lots.
Were I member:
LeveL: 66, 75 mining without botting(and non-member)!
Little kids do stupid things...
Lost 2 years of work by "sharing" my already shared account, with someone else at school.
Result: RUNESCAPE SUKS.
Drat! I missed the pizza!
I think that KimKat got permanently muted on an account by saying "nicholas cage f***". But he got unmuted :D.

No, all I said was "nicholas cage stuck in a cage" on a members world while playing Pest-Control and someone said "don't talk bad about cage" or something, and then some week later I got perm mute for like 2 years, great times. But now that account is back to normal as I claimed it to be a unfair punishment for such small crime, I was just talking about celebrities and none the less I've seen nicholas cage stuck in a cage so I just caught that up from a movie, so it's not my fault. Yes. You can get be muted, or even banned! I was muted for website advertising. I just said "I find the quest's solutions on runehq" and I got permanently muted. Pretty bad.
