Virus from game maker ?
lol. i played this game, and there is no viruses :p
its same as Kaspersky, which detect S2MP as Virus. Yes, but I can't place link until get permission from TKD, because i'm afraid of ban/violation yeah, you can show us the link again. Perhaps just some of the antivirus tools had a false alarm. yaa theres no virus what i belive
cause i made a game whit game maker whit same result
i got 5 construct.32win things It's not unusual for applications like this to get flagged as a "generic" (I.e. "we think it's a...") virus, however, this is because some AV software uses heuristics to determine whether something is a virus or not which is basically reading the instruction order from the program and seeing if it contains any malicious code. However, in "game maker" made games, I suspect that the exe is actually a packed version of the game that extracts itself to the local temp folder and runs from there. This does still keep it technically portable and also contained to one distributable executable. However, heuristic AV will first flag this as suspicious for any executable that doesn't have a recognised compression MIME type, then it will unpack these and check the content code as well. If it finds anything slightly suspicious (such as a networking dll required for multiplayer) it will say you have a generic threat in the executable package and deny access. This for many people is known as a "false positive" detection.
This is quite a ramble, but I hope it explains some things for those who didn't know. Scanned with bitdefender and quickheal
no virus at all
it must be the scan site It's just a false positive. Anyway, any opinion, suggestion or rate?
