So they don't repeat that same mistake what they did first. But of course death penalty doesn't fix more than jail penalty for ever.
And life in prison w/o parole will also make sure that they don't make the same mistake with the additional option of possible rehabilitation. Therefor the Death Penalty is has no justification

What I'm saying is that there's no time in history where there was such high morality in the world that there's no need for the capital punishment. Please reread your history book.

Only one state of America still have death penalty.
Currently, 38 out of 50 states in the United States retains the Death Penalty and actively uses it.
