I want to use MM2!!Found the help earlier in the thread... Reading skills? NOT!

First off, The Flintlock Pistol.
Req: Flintlock Body + Barrel + Grip + Firing System
Flintlock Body: Hammer, log, branch, iron bar, copper ore
Barrel: Hammer, iron bar, copper ore
Grip Cord, branch
Firing System: Copper ore, iron bar, flint
Is the Iron rod the same as iron bar? If not, how do I make iron bars in MM2? I have all the components but can't get it to work.
Now to some other stuff I would like to be able to do:
Frying pan Golden bow KnifeIf you have some answers, please tell me. Any other items, combos etc would be appriciated. I'm so tired of hearing "That doesn't work", "Did you expect that to work" etc..
Peace out! Golden bow: hammer+cord+10*gold
Knife: branch+cord
Frying pan: knife+clay
Do you need to prep the gold? make bars or something?
Do you have any reciepes that you've found out?

Peace out!Looks like you mine a metal rock till you get iron, then combine the iron with a hammer. You also might have to be near a fire/anvil.

Maybe combine the rod with a hammer by a fire? Honestly I'm just guessing here.
When I use cocoafruit on a fire or water it gives me cocoa. You can use it again to make chocolate. This chocolate can make 10 cookies by using it. The problem is the cocoa dust will never deplete when making chocolate.
