So i would like to know from you guys what could be the reason.

I think it's the guy, coz he added an antivirus on my pc(nod32) and he put on it's shceduel to run this thing called tem dono Fix 1.1, second time it's Nod 32 fix, i went on google to see what is it, it says it's a crack, i bet the repair guy doesnt care if there a virus in this crack or not but i bet there is.. so i add
-the crack(tem dono fix 1.1) <99%chance

any computer geniouses or technitians here?

I highly doubt that the listed stuff is the only potential source for viruses on your PC. I'm very sure that you are also visiting other websites and using other software. the poll is totally pointless therefore.

I recommend to try other anti virus software when nod32 does not find any problem.
google for spybot (completely free) and antivir (there is a commercial and a free version)

and why are you so sure that it is a virus?

@crazyx: you made me remember; avast was the last reason my PC *ucked up; the story: nod 32 stopped updating for a week, i thought I wasn't safe then, so I downloaded avast, installed it, it said that i had to restart my PC to see the changes, i restart my PC, everything work, i open avast, i open nod s2, they both work, 1 minute later, my task-bar bugs(it froze) then the whole screen freezes, only thing that works is the mouse...every time I on my PC again, the same thing happened..so I wouldn't take avast..

I just wanted to state, nod 32 is actually a good anti virus catcher(seems like it)(and it saved me allot of times)but I think that most of you didn't notice that I wrote about the crack.

When your computer shuts down... are you playing a CPU heavy game? Such as stranded 2, or AOE 3 or some other kind of game that has enough to it to make the CPU lag. If so, its quite probable that your CPU is overheating... especially if you live in a hotter climate.

When the CPU overheats, it shuts down the computer, to protect itself from getting damaged. It also happens if your power cube is getting too hot, it will shut itself down to prevent wires from melting and etc...

When your computer shuts down on you, put your hand on the casing... if the casing is hot to the touch, then it its very probable that you don't have a virus at all... that you just have a problem with your computer overheating... if the problem is your computer overheating, then call the repair man, and ask him to dust, or blow out your computer.

If he's actually a computer pro he'll know what your asking, as computers like everything gather dust over time which suffocate the parts and makes them heat up. However, I wouldn't recommend taking your feather duster to the computer as you could mess up some things... let the technician do it... and, he should come in with an air blower that will blow out your PC.

At least, that's the way I always did it... however if your computer is a laptop, its going to be a lot more complicated then just taking the cover off and blowing it out, so your going to have to take your computer into the shop and ask them to clean it out, cause its dusty... they should know how to open a laptop up and clean it carefully.


In any case, that is usually the cause of your computer over heating... however, there is also the problem of not enough fans to circulate the heat out of the computer... if your on a laptop you don't have to worry, the laptop has a built in fan that should do that for you. If your on a big computer then yes, you might have the problem of not enough circulation... in that case, and its not recommended if you have children around. Take off the cover, and if you wish put a small fan beside the computer blowing the air through the computer.

That is what I did and I never had problems with the computer over heating again. Unless of course it got so dusty that it couldn't breath...


However, if it is actually and virus that is causing your computer grief, you must remember that there are several different kinds of viruses... One of them is a normal virus, that can be detected by an antivirus, another one is a malware, that can but not always will be detected by an antivirus, there is also spyware, which is hard to detect unless you have a spyware hunter... So effectivly it could be any one of those kinds.

But there is also something to remember, you cannot have two antivirus running at the same time... they will contradict each other, and in the end crash your computer, same thing with a firewall. You can't have two firewalls running without them contradicting each other.

So, I would suggest dropping Nod, or whatever, (cause obviously its not working...) and scan the internet for the best free (or bought) virus catcher out there... I personally will recommend avira antivir, but my father has avast, we often scan files both times both with avast and avira, avira will pick up things that avast doesn't and avast will pick up things that avira doesn't. So they are more less equal. I prefer avira cause I'm used to it. In any case, once you get it, scan your PC completely, tell it to scan everything. And if there is a virus it will find it... (note that many times anti-viruses will encounter "viruses" in cracks and different pirated games where no virus exists. But at the same time, search on the net what people say about the virus and keep a close eye on it... if you got it from a torrent then its probably {not always} ok. If you got it from a single server, or direct link, then hey, watch it...)


At the same time, find a spyware catcher, and then use it... the antispyware will free your pc from spyware that might give out confidential information to those baddies out there. And often spyware can effect your computer. So find a spyware protection and scan your whole computer with it...


And then find a malware protector... then use it to scan your pc too... it should find all the malware your computer possesses... and then you should be free... but there are always things that escape detection. So don't take everything for positivity true.


I would suggest NOT letting your computer work man know about you installing a new antivirus or spyware checker or antimalware cause if it is him, then its possible that he could modify the program or virus he put on your computer to make sure it isn't detected...




Of course, this is only my thoughts on the matter, don't take me for a computer genius cause I'm not a genius in any way... Psytechnic is more of a genius then I'll ever be.

Now i think it's a virus because i just tested something. Nod 32 , has something called scheduler.It runs stuff it need plus you can tell it run other stuff you want to run at whatever time. There's this thing the computer repair man added that's Temdono FiX 1.1(or NOD 32 FiX).He made the settings for it to run each time i log on.i opened task manager, went on 'networking', saw that my internet connection was being used. I unchecked the fix (it's crack>i googled it) standbyed my PC.Re on't it.The internet connection was not being used.Checked(ticked) the fix,again with the same procedure. The internet connection was being used. I deduct that it's a virus.

I figure that some on would have Virus scaned it, also my friend has a vary powerfull one, it upgraded some how though, so anything attched to it (viruses, hackers, flash drives, ect.) can be wiped, & distoryed. What I think, maby another fourm, or a pop-up hack?

Nod 32 isn't the kind of pop up anti virus crap. It's a very powerful anti virus but the fucktard of repair man put a crack with it(because he only gives a trial version) and he probably doesn't know if there where a virus in it or not not; but maybe he knows there's a virus and does it on purpose.

i mean crack by crack. Crack is something(exe or whatever way or gimmick or trick or glitch) used to get full use of a trial version of a program. Like, counter strike, you have real and fake versions; fake version are cracked copies of the real ones, usually the coders of the game make it impossible to just copy and past the game, so what the crackers do is "crack" it by like hacking it>steal it.

[EDIT] i think i just found how does the crack work but i need a script pro because i don't know if it could harm my PC or not.

Nod has a scheduler function. That the user can use. It means he can tell nod to run something(whatever it can be) at whatever time of a day.

The crack works like this. You add on the Nod schedule to run this thing called regedit32.exe (registry editor>i don't know what that means -.-) then you give a work directory C:\Program Files\ESET (ESET coz: NOD32 ESET anti virus) then you add a command line : /s nod32fix.reg.
the work directory and the command line work together;nod32fix.reg is in the work directory(in C:\Program Files\ESET)

Reg editor is just the normal windows registory editor. but nod32fix.reg is a reg file and contains in it:

Cause I've seen computers with Norton, and all they did was crash... but yet I've seen those computers install a diffrent antivirus such as avast or avg or avira, and then never crash...
