Hi all.
So, after seeing some threads that advertised personal websites, I thought: "Hmmm, why not advertise my own?"
But after reading some replies about "Advertising is not allowed!" I thought again: "Damn it! Oh noes".
BUT most of these threads weren't closed and/or didn't receive any Administrator/Moderator warning.

Advertising (?) has written
I made my own personal website today (click my signature) and I would like to share it with you all, since it's/it'll is/be related to Unreal Software.


I hope what I wrote above isn't illegal or something like that. If it is, I'm sorry.

If I'm allowed to advertise, I will create a new thread or edit this one (DC or any mod choose) to fit the advertisement of this website.

P.S.: I finished it right now. I mean, when I have at least 1 member, I'll create new pages and a members-only hidden forum.
P.S. 2: It's really related to Unreal Software, since one of the contact methods shown there is to contact me via PM and the fact I will post my UnrealSoftware.de uploads there with alternative mirrors and bonus editions.
P.S. 3: It has ads, yes... I hate them... read • this notice at my website to understand some reasons.

Homepage-Generators arent a good Idea. Try learning the easy language HTML. After that get simillar with CSS. Its isn´t really so hard!

I already created several websites with 000webohst, HelioHost, X10Hosting and stuff with file-uploading.

But I'm just too bored of them and wanted the good ik' generators.

however in many cases it's annoying and not welcome.

in your case it's pointless to advertise because your page is - sorry - bad. I'll give you some reasons (and things to think about):

• flash intros might seem to be cool but they are actually just ridiculous. especially when you are using one of the prepared intros where you just insert your own image/text. it makes your page look even more like trash.

• why is there a red counter thingy at the bottom? counters are ridiculous as well but in this case it also causes eye-cancer. you can't combine red with green! it also makes the counter look super important - but it isn't! design fail.

• blinking "welcome" at the top of the page... ×

• why the login stuff? forcing people to register without any reason? I don't think that this is a good idea.

• all those problems would still be acceptable if your page had content - but there is no content?! I mean: what is this page for? why did you create it? what do you want to show? what can I do there? why should I ever visit it again? there is NOTHING to see! a page is absolutely worthless and pointless without unique content.

So why do you advertise? I don't get it.
do you want to tell people "this page has nothing to offer! be warned! don't visit it again!"? because that's what you are doing right now.

It's the worst idea to use nickname as website name.
Use Facebook, Myspace or whatever for that.

Why did you actually created the site?
It piqued my interest a bit but the user but registering stuff was problematic
why cant you make the site register ppl and why do we have to mail you?
And stop hiding the forums

DC is going to probably close this. Who cares? Just close it. I'm fine with it. I just used this website as an example to get an answer to "Is it allowed to advertise websites?". so yeah, please don't whine and concern about me.
