When it was time to send to hell those Royalists back to Spain (or hell), everybody in Buenos Aires started to panic, until José de San Martín came up with the crazy idea of crossing the Andes with an army to gather more men in Chile so he could slay all the enemy forces that were marching to Buenos Aires from north.
Once he assembled his army and crossed the Andes, he attacked the city of Lima, the heart of the Royalist forces in South America, using the boats and men that the revolutionary forces of Chile granted him.
After he did all that he gave his army to Simon Bolivar so he could finish off the few enemies left.
