I just downloaded this game last night and have some questions about it..

1. I am stuck with a shelter,fire, and a few tools, how can I move on?

2. Where can I get mods from and how do I download them?

3. Can I move on to a new island?

4.how do I make stuff out of metal?

EDIT: How can I plant berries? I put them in my hand and click but it says I need to use them on the ground?
