It's a shame this project was abandoned, it had tons of potential... while the multiplayer still works perfectly through Hamachi, there's loads of bugs that need fixing, specially the ones that cause different causes of crashes.
Another thing that needs to be worked on is saving multiplayer progress. So far, I think to continue from what was previously played you need to Save the multiplayer game and change the file type of that save in the Stranded II folder to a map, so it is loaded on the next play through (as you can't load on multiplayer lobbies, only actual maps), but I haven't actually tried this yet, though.

The multiplayer mod is dead, there's no servers, it can only be played via Hamachi, and the OP clearly stated that he's searching for people to play with, not asking how to play multiplayer...
