1 reply I play Stranded II constantly on my old computer, which ran windows 7 and played the game just fine. However, even in 7 compatibility mode I'm finding it very difficult to play the game on Windows 8. The lag is insane on the main menu in compatibility mode, and normally it only lags a little, but the actually frame rate in game is terrible. This is one of my favorite games, so help is greatly appreciated. Had the same problem 
I finally figured out that playing the -win.bat-File is not lagging... it's not perfect, I also prefer the full size, but it's better then nothing!
