This thread won't help so much and this can could lead to conflicts like flame wars.
This thread is pointless because, as you already said, there's a mod discussion thread. Use that instead.
DC for the decision of letting the moderators make ranks to the users. The administrators on any site must have to have a singular potentials, which can the admin do anything else parallel with moderators. @
THEMUD: Afaik, mods can't give out idiot ranks, only DC can. Seekay: Not really. Actually, moderators can change the rank of others, except giving moderator/admin rank is not possible (obviously).

What I meant to say is that you're kinda provoking him. Not only did you make a pointless clickbait thread, you also sent him private messages and posted in a different topic already. Again, just give him some time and he will reply. He's pretty active so it shouldn't take long.
GeoB99: Well, technically, we can set all ranks (Yes, all of them as in 7 or 8 possible) but Starkkz mentioned only those because it would be senseless to set the rest without DC's consent and so it would be better to just allow DC to do that.@
Black Wolf: If anything, I think getting idiot mode is better than getting temp. banned as you can still do everything. Yes, you have to enter Captcha for everything but it being annoying just shows how annoying you had to be for someone to give you the rank. At the very least, I don't think your rank will be removed when you say "you piss me off" to a moderator in a public thread with a message that you'd normally send with PM.As there's nothing more to be said, I'll be closing this thread.
