When i try to install 1.6 it dosent work, i used to have it i needed to uninstall it for somthing then when i tried to install it again i get this error,

.cpp? usually the files are compiled... tho there are ways that this is just a library that is referenced to, from the error, i'm almost sure that another process has somehow taken up the memory alotted for the set up

btw, i dont think it can connect to the web, better just buy the game

Maybe the exception tells the sourcecode file for debugging.
And I don't think that allocated memory would be simply taken up.

You said, you deleted nothing since the last install of CS, is there maybe still a folder, containing sokme undeleted files of CS? Delete it.
Have you checked the CD whether it is intact?

I just need some files to get it started, I need gfx.wad, decals.wad, the CZERO.exe, and so on lol.

And all the default maps.
